Discovering and Developing Talented Twice-Exceptional Students (DD2E)

Using nontraditional methods to identify talent, DD2E aims to increase talent identification specifically within the 2e student population. Additionally, DD2E aims to train educators and mental health professionals in the use of nontraditional methods of talent identification.

(2014-2020)

STEM Excellence & Leadership is an out-of-school program that takes place in rural school districts throughout the state of Iowa. Teachers discover talented middle-school students with interests in math and science, increase their aspirations, and engage them in advanced, in-depth coursework to prepare them for STEM opportunities at the highest levels.
